Welcome the new Perlisten Audio R210s and R212s subwoofers: dynamic, accurate, solid. Ground up drivers developed by Perlisten's team of engineers. Only bettered by our upscale Perlisten D-Series subs.

In 2022 the top model of the D series, the Perlisten Audio D215t, won the EISA award in the "best home theater subwoofer" category. However, the manufacturer has not pause and continues its development, expanding the family of subwoofers with the R line, with two representatives of active subwoofers in closed enclosures: Perlisten R210s and Perlisten R212s.

Both the R210s and R212s are the sealed cabinet subwoofers equipped with two drivers in a Push-Pull arrangement that provides dynamic, accurate and solid bass reproduction. Their proper control is handled by an amplifier with a peak power of 1300W. Technical solutions have been taken from the top D series of Perlisten subwoofers. What primarily distinguishes these two models, apart from their dimensions and weight, is the diameter and material from which the diaphragms are made. The R-series uses a fiberglass diaphragm, the R210s has a diameter of 25cm and the R212s has a diameter of 30cm.

Glass fiber composite diaphragms, multiple aluminum shorting rings, massive magnets, multi-layer Nomex spiders and lightweight aluminum voice coil wire are the key ingredients - Proprietary nonlinear modeling techniques allow us to simulate all these components and then optimize for real world driver performance - free air and in box. Further refinement is done with the aid of Klippel laser measurements to dial things in.

To take performance to another level, the push-pull drivers reduce even order harmonics distortion by an additional 10-12dB. Powerd by our 1.3kW amplifier, all functions and safeties are controlled by a 48-bit data bath DSP and 32-bit ARM M4 Cortex processor, able to react in microseconds, powerful enough to slam.

All R-Series subs share 2.4” LCD touchscreen display and ability to control advance settings using Perlisten App. To communicate with your iOS or Android based devices it uses Bluetooth Low Energy.

Bass management is critical to the control the notoriously difficult acoustic environment known as your listening room. Standing waves, subwoofers placed in a less than ideal position, and sound variation from seat to seat are only some of these issues. Control for up to eight subwoofers with three banks of 10 PEQ’s per woofer, Time Delay, Phase, up to six standard EQ’s, 24 dB lowpass crossovers and polarity switching, are all tools available to optimize in-room performance. It takes more than just world-class materials to make world-class sound. It takes quality that lets you know that your speakers will never fail you in the middle of a dynamic crescendo or when experiencing the delicate subtlety of a triangle in your favourite orchestra. Perlisten Audio demands this from their products, so you don’t have to.
