1. My equipment broke down, what should i do?
First of all, stay calm. Mean time of repair in our service is about 7 working days. 4 easy steps to report equipment for repair.
- Contact our service by phone (+48 85 747 97 59) or send an email serwis@rafko.com
- Our service, in a convenient way for our customer, will help to organize transport. For certain brands, it will send a courier for pick up in a convenient time, at its own expense.
- Immediately, after receipt of the equipment, within 24 hours, our service will make a diagnosis and shall forthwith inform the customer.
- Repair and sending back to customer.
2. The warranty has ended, what now?
It is worth to contact an authorized service. For HiFiMAN we have our own, post-warranty customer support program. Some repairs are made for free or at very attractive prices using original parts. Applies to products purchased in the Polish distribution, confirmed by purchase receipt.
3. How to update the software in HiFiMAN player?
HM-601, HM-602
Instruction:
1. Download and unpack the update file
2. Connect the player to your computer via USB port (data exchange).
3. Copy the file on flash drive of the player.
4. Disconnect USB from the computer.
5. After restarting the player, information about updating the software will appear.
6. After the update, restart the device. The update process is finished.

Instruction:
1. Please download the new firmware zip file first and then copy it to your SD card (Do not change the name of the firmware file or decompress it). Only the FAT32 SD card can be used.
2. While pressing the HOME button, hold the Power key up until the HM-901 is power on. After the screen is on, release the power key. Then release the HOME button until the hifiman logo disappears. Now the player will be in recovery mode.
3. Wait until the first picture shows on the screen. The system will be updated automatically.
4. After the update is done, power off the player and then reboot it to finish the whole process.

4. How to replace a stylus in a cartridge?
Cartridge series 1000 (1006, 1012GX, 1022GX, 1042) differ from each other only with an installed stylus. Therefore, it is possible to install in the cartridge of lower model, stylus from the upper model.
Eg. User may purchase a stylus for 1042 cartridge and install it in the 1006 cartridge,obtaining this way the exact same sound quality as in 1042 cartridge, as long as the coil and other components in the cartridge aren't worked out or damaged.
Replacing the stylus is an activity, which can be done by people who are starting their adventure with analog playing. Any help on this issue is available at authorized service. Our specialists will be happy to help in case of any problems.
Replacement must be performed with extreme caution. In particular, do not touch the stylus and the bracket. Cartridge should be grasped on both sides of the casing. Putting down the stylus, please be careful to put it with bracket up.
