The HIFIMAN HE-R10P model are flagship closed planar headphones with a membrane made in nanotechnology. It has large earmuffs made of cherry wood, which increase the sound capabilities of the headphones. The large internal space of the wooden shell provides ample volume and gives the drivers 'breath'. The design took a lot of "inspiration" from Sony's classic R10 headphones.

 

HiFiMAN has been building it's position as a producer of the world's best planar headphones over the past decade. Inside the HE-R10P we can find proven, top technology Topology Diaphragm. The inspiration was the doctoral dissertation of Dr. Fang Bian, the founder of HiFiMAN. By carefully controlling the surface structure of the membrane, we obtain acoustic parameters unattainable by standard methods.

 

Drivers

The transducer has membranes with an ultra-thin nanometer thickness. They are made of polymers, they are light, but also very durable and designed to ensure a very high quality of music reproduction. They provide higher dynamics of the reproduced sound compared to ordinary planar membranes. On both sides of the diaphragm we find "invisible" magnets, which have a different physical shape, optimal in terms of the ease of transmission of sound waves from one side to the other. This is to minimize the creation of distortions such as turbulence, wave diffraction, and to reduce sound distortion in the process.

Once again, HiFiMAN offers us an innovative solution introduced in the Deva 3in1 headphones - the Blumini adapter. After attaching it to the left earcup, we instantly transform the R10D into a wireless bluetooth version. The Bluemini receiver connects via the Bluetooth module with any transmitting device. High sound quality and minimizing delays are ensured by the use of the most modern and popular codecs: Qualcomm aptX-HD and LDAC. The Bluemini adapter is connected to the headphones via the 3.5mm mini Jack socket. It provides up to 8 hours of operation depending on conditions.

The HE-R10P comes in a large suitcase that opens like a treasure chest. Durable 3.5mm connectors embedded in the lower part of the left earcup allow you to quickly and easily replace the currently used cables.
